Behind the Jewelry: An interview with Boom Chappell

The second instalment of Discovered.us interview with Boom is up on their website. In the first instalment Boom talked about the creative process of hand selecting gemstones to go in her jewelry. The second instalment takes us through the creation of the actual jewelry pieces using hand shaped silver. Each piece that Boom crafts is built around a gemstone and the silver, gold or brass that she uses to make her necklaces, earrings, or bracelets all start with the gemstones but take shape when she she adds the precious metals to the mix. Topaz For those born in November you are lucky. You actually have two birthstones that come in a multitude of colours. The birthstones for November are topaz and citrine.
