September's birthstone is sapphire. Sapphire is a stunning gemstone that is traditionally a deep blue hue but also comes in colors ranging from greens and purples to pinks and even reds. Many of the world sapphires come from the Chanthaburi region of Thailand and because of this Metal Studio Jewelry has a large selection of stunning sapphires. If you are looking for something extra special as a gift for someone special who has a birthday in September sapphires make a great choice.       

October has two birthstones opal and topaz and these are both favourite gemstones for Boom to use in her jewelry designs. Boom tends to use one of two types of opals.
