Commissioned pendant necklace in rose gold and antique silver

Posted by Ryan Chappell on

This stunning choker necklace was commissioned by a long time customer and close friend. The customer asked simply that Boom design something as a gift for his parter with no other design specifications. Knowing the client well helped Boom choose a combination of faceted and cabochon cut rubies and moonstones. Each gemstone individually hand set into a rose gold crown cap. The design was built around a genuine 18th century piece of Thai silver bullet money. Dozens of small diamonds were set into the side of the money to give it a modern flair. The piece was then polished to bring it back from the deep black oxidation it had obtained in the last centuries. A simple oxidized silver chocker was used to hang the pendant in order not to detract from the pendant’s stunning beauty.

Holes drilled in the silver bullet money. Small faceted diamonds will be placed in each setting to bring a sparkle to the deep black oxidization of the antique money.

The final piece entitled “Tree of Life”
