October has two birthstones opal and topaz and these are both favourite gemstones for Boom to use in her jewelry designs.
Boom tends to use one of two types of opals. Ethiopian opals which are more clear but have deep reds oranges and yellows and Australian which are less opaque but have stunning green and blue fire.
